The ancient town of Hoi An lies on the banks of the Thu River. Occupied by early foreign traders as. Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish … Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century and was very popular with the name Faifoo. Hoi An old town has been recognized as a world cultural heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
Hue Citadel is the most remarkable mark of the great landscape and architectural site of this Vietnamese city. Situated on the Northern bank of the Perfume River, the citadel is broadly a system of three circles of ramparts namely Kinh Thanh (Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel). The royal complex of Hue has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 (23 May): ARRIVE DANANG – HUE
Take flight to Danang. Our guide will meet you at Da Nang airport on arrival, transfer to Hue via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co and the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Arrive Hue, you will visit Tu Duc temple, Khai Dinh Tomb: unlike Hue’s other tombs, being a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stone faces of the mandarin honour guards are endowed with a mixture of Vietnamese and European features. Overnight at Imperial hotel in Hue or similar
DAY 2 (24 May): HUE CITADEL (Breakfast)
After breakfast, take a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious site to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang Tomb: Said to be the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings. Afternoon, continue to visit Hue citadel with Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). Overnight in Hue.
DAY 3 (25 May): HUE – HOI AN (Breakfast)
After breakfast, depart for Hoi An. Lunch time. Afternoon, take walking to visit Hoi An ancient town, the town with mixed the culture of Vietnam/Chinese/ Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Overnight at Hoi An Beach resort or similar.
DAY 4 (26 May): HOI AN – SEE OFF (Breakfast)
Breakfast in hotel. Free time to discover Hoi An ancient town or in resort till transfer to airport for your flight to Saigon. End of service.
