Hoi An old town has been recognized as a world cultural heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)
Hue Citadel is the most remarkable mark of the great landscape and architectural site of this Vietnamese city. Situated on the Northern bank of the Perfume River, the citadel is broadly a system of three circles of ramparts namely Kinh Thanh (Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel). The royal complex of Hue has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE DANANG – HOI AN (D)
Our guide will meet you at Da Nang airport on arrival, transfer to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries and its architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Check in hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 2: HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN (B, L, D)
After breakfast, a half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the seventh and thirteenth centuries. Afternoon, back to Hoi An, take walking to visit Hoi An ancient town, the town with mixed the culture of Vietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 3: HOI AN – HUE (B, L, D)
After breakfast by road for Hue via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co and the Pass of Ocean Clouds. You will take a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue’s best-known religious site, Thien Mu pagoda. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 4: HUE – SEE OFF (B)
Breakfast in hotel. Visit Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 and the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc. Transfer to Hue airport for your flight.
