CODE: HAN14

A World Heritage site – Ha Long Bay is one of most beautiful places on earth, in the Gulf of Tonkin, includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. The site’s outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its great biological interest.

    Dear Alex

Thank you for you kind message. Yes we are back home in Canada. It has been relatively warm for Calgary which means it has been around 0 C. You would find that very cold but for around here it is considered a heat wave. The last couple of times we have been in Hanoi we have not been doing much travelling. You did such a good job of showing us the country that you may have put yourself out of work. We have very fond memories of our experiences for which we are grateful for your wonderful help.

Tom has been working in the South Pacific so we do not see him often although we do chat over Skype with him from time to time will pass on you well wishes.

    Ron and Glenda
